V ABK (Trofeo para Black Horse)
El domingo nos presentamos tres integrantes del equipo a la "Azuará bike maratón" pero este año en su versión larga. Nada menos que 93 km con la BTT, recorrido muy variado. Zonas áridas y zonas boscosas, también se cruza una cueva, el cauce de un rio y se recorre un barranco o foz (Zafrane).
El ambiente como el año pasado bueno desde primera hora. Te reciben con pastas y café por si se te ha olvidado desayunar en casa.
Unas 200 personas en la línea de salida, llama la atención las primeras filas, repletas de corredores del Utebo, que junto con el calatayud fuerón los club más numerosos.
En la salida cada uno a su ritmo, aúnque la idea es reagruparnos en el avituallamiento de Azuara, que es donde empieza una zona que es más llana y fácil de rodar en grupo ya que el primer bucle de carrera tiene mucha senda entre pinos y es difícil controlar quien va detrás. En Azuara reponemos fuerzas y así una vez juntos reanudamos la marcha.
Hasta Letux el terreno el muy llano y al aproximarnos a la cueva del Diablo, tenemos una cuesta dura y ancha con fuerte aire en contra, la hacemos en grupo de unos 10 corredores, la cueva marcada con tiras de neoón para adivinar el camino, está completamente a oscuras, después una bajada por senda pedregosa nos lleva a un árido camino, después una zona técnica del lecho de un rio seco convertido en camino hace que tengamos que dar lo mejor de nosotros para no echar el pié al suelo, porque las ruedas se clavan continuanmente en la gravilla. Trás coronar, bajada por una senda entre arbustos secos y llegamos a una zona de desmonte para superar los restos de alguna antigua construcción de piedra. Ahí reagrupamos los tres para afrontar la travesia por el cauce del rio "Aguas vivas", que este año lleva menos agua.
Penúltima parada en "Almonacid de la Cuba", unas barritas y acuarius y terminamos de remontar el pueblo para después rodar rápido hasta el "Barranco de Zafrane", al principio del cual hicimos nuestra última parada a repostar, Frutos secos, barritas, Melón, Sandía y sobre todo bebida Isotónica.
Cruzamos Zafrane sin pena ni gloria y afrontamos la última subida del día, "Sierra Gorda", terreno muy suelto arriba que nos hace desmontar en la última parte.
Bajada rápida con aire de culo y un tramo de carretera nos llevan a meta, que cruzamos juntos, Pedro, Jose y Gico.
Nos damos una duchafria relajante (más a gusto de unos que de otros, jeje) y rápidamente a comer. De nuevo cafe, pastas y Licor para el que guste.
Después en la entrega de premios, menos caras conocidas que el año pasado.
Nuestro resultado :Terceros por Equipos. Puestos 43,44,y 45.
Un buen comienzo de temporada.
